About the Editors: Vinay Dharwadker, poet, translator, and critic, teaches at the University of Oklahoma. He is the author of a book of poems entitled Sunday at the Lodi Gardens. A.K. Ranamujan taught at the University of Chicago and at various other institutions for forty years, until his death in 1993. The author of many books, his recent publications include Second Sight, and Poems of Love and War
