About the Author
Johnny Molloy is an outdoor writer who has camped more than one hundred nights in the wild each year since the early 1980s. The result is over 50 books, including hiking guides to Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee, as well as tent camping guides to Colorado, Wisconsin, Tennessee, the Carolinas, Georgia, and the Smokies. Carrie Stambaugh is the author of Hiking Kentucky (3rd edition). A journalist and photographer, her work has appeared in The Independent, Ironton Tribune, Greater Ashland Beacon, Bridges, Huntington Quarterly, Portsmouth Metro, and Tri-State Living.
