Connie Fournier is co-founder of the Canadian conservative internet forum, Free Dominion. She has been politically active since 2001, running Free Dominion, sitting on the local Boards of Directors of both the Canadian Alliance and the Conservative Party of Canada, usually as Vice President. She has organized rallies, petitions, banquets, fundraisers and other events in a volunteer capacity, and worked for a federal Member of Parliament for about two years. In 2012, she was awarded the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal by federal Member of Parliament, Maurice Vellacott. He wrote: Connie has been on the front lines of the battle to preserve fundamental freedoms in Canada...Through it all she has stood tall, and defended freedom for all Canadians.
