Glenn Alterman has written thirty-one theater related books, eleven of which contain original monologues. RecordSetter.com called him the “author of the most published original monologues for actors.” His plays have been performed in over three hundred theaters, and he has won over two hundred playwriting competitions. He has won two international arts grants, the Arts & Letters Award in Drama, and the Reva Shiner Award. His monologues and plays appear in forty “Best of the Year” anthologies.
