Jim Bruton serves as an adjunct faculty member at several colleges and universities in the Twin Cities and is the author several books, including A Tradition of Purple, Gopher Glory, The Big House, I Did It My Way (with Bud Grant) and Chasing Dreams (with Jerry Kill). He was a member of the Minnesota Golden Gophers football team in 1965 and 1966. Lou Nanne captained the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the United States Olympic hockey teams and had a remarkable tenure as player, coach, general manager, and president of the Minnesota North Stars. He resides in Edina, Minnesota.
