A guidebook to walking the 224km (140 mile) Rota Vicentina, between Santiago do Cacém and Cabo de São Vicente. This long-distance trail following Portugal’s Atlantic coastline through the Alentejo and Algarve regions is suitable for all fit walkers and is best experienced Spring and Autumn.

• Presented in 12 stages of 12-24km (7-15 miles) that combines two well-marked routes, the Caminho Histórico (the Historical Way) and the Trilho dos Pescadores (the Fishermen's Trail)
