About the Author
Prolific prize-winning Andrei Monastyrski is an author, poet, artist, and art theorist, and along with Ilya Kabakov, one of the leaders of the Moscow Conceptulist movement. In 2003 he received the Andrei Bely Prize for his contribution to Russian literature. He was also granted the Soratnik Prize in 2008, and the Innovation Prize (for Art Theory) the following year.
