Ben Coffin is a twelve-year-old trying to overcome bullying at school. He prefers to spend his free time reading sci-fi at the library, where he comes across an abandoned puppy. Thanks to him, Ben meets Halley, a fellow book-lover. She convinces him to write a novel with her but as the story unfolds, Ben’s life begins to unravel and he must learn the truth about friendship and the meaning of home. Paul Griffin studied film at Dartmouth College and today works with organizations that help adolescents. He is also the author of Burning Blue, Adrift, Ten Mile River, The Orange Houses, and Stay with Me. He lives in Manhattan, NY.
