Description
No matter if you fuse glass at home or in a factory, the principles are the same. In essence, it entails melting together two or more pieces of glass in a kiln that has been heated up.
Glass must be melted at temperatures between 1400F (760C) and 1500F (815C), which is a high temperature. The heat level will change depending on the type of glass being fired and the intended outcome for your finished product. A temperature known as "full fuse" frequently results in a smoother finish.
