In this Hamish the Highland Cow story, Hamish teaches the lesson of befriending those who are different than we are. Hamish was born in the Spring in the Highlands of Scotland. He is a happy baby cow who loves to run in the meadows and play by the brook. One thing is missing from Hamish's life. A friend. Hamish finds a friend that his parents do not approve of because she is different. Hamish teaches his parents a lesson by befriending a bee. Hamish loves his new friend with his heart. His new friend Honey helps Hamish to be able to see her by putting his hair up in a ponytail. Then he can see her with his eyes and his heart.
