Rule Number One: Don't trust people.

Fox Matthews did not have a normal childhood. With parents that had long predicted the fall of society, Fox grew up isolated in the Wyoming mountains. Having homesteading parents isn't all that bad though, except when your Dad comes up with list of rules for everyone to follow.

Things in The Matthews' quiet paradise are interrupted by an unannounced visitor, thrusting Fox into a world that he knows nothing about. Will Dad's rules actually help him survive out there in the world, or will they be a death sentence?
